According to a referencelist - dated 1927 - from the German company Mix & Genest AG, Abteilung Rohrpost und Förderanlagen in Berlin-Schöneberg, the Swiss city of Zürich had access to a Pneumatic City Mail system with three stations and a tube length of 4.500 meters.

In Zürich there were also several private Pneumatic City Mail systems:

  • The Eidgenössische Bank A.G. with two stations and 230 meters tube.
  • The Schweizerische Nationalbank with two stations and 270 meters tube.
  • The Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft with two stations and 560 meters tube.
  • The Schweizerischer Bankverein with two stations and 370 meters tube.
  • The Schweizerische Kredietanstalt with two stations and 520 meters tube.
  • The A.G. Leu & Cie. with two stations and 430 meters tube.
  • The Basler Handelsbank with two stations and 230 meters tube.
  • The Allgemeine Elsässische Bank with two stations and 300 meters tube.
  • The Zürcher Kansonalbank with two stations and 300 meters tube.
  • The Guyerzeller Bank AG with two stations and 230 meters tube.
